Terms of Service

Payment

Payment is due before or at the time of each session. Accepted payment methods include Venmo and Zelle. For flat-fee services like the personal statement review, payment is due before work begins.

If payment is not received, I reserve the right to pause or end the engagement until the balance is settled.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

I am flexible. Life happens, and I will work with you to find another time. Just give me a heads up as early as you can.

Refunds

Completed sessions are not refundable. For flat-fee services, a full refund is available if work has not yet started. If you have purchased a session package and want to stop before using all sessions, a partial refund will be issued for unused sessions.

Scope of Services

I am a private tutor and advisor. I am not a licensed educational institution and these services do not carry academic credit. All sessions are conducted remotely via Zoom.

I do not guarantee specific MCAT scores, admissions outcomes, or any other measurable result. Outcomes depend on the effort a student puts in outside of our sessions. I will give you the best guidance I can, but what you do with it is on you.

Materials and Intellectual Property

Any study materials, study schedules, documents, or other resources I create belong to me. Students are welcome to use them for their own personal prep, but they may not be shared, resold, or redistributed without my written permission.

Code of Conduct

Sessions work best when both sides show up prepared and treat each other with respect. I hold myself to that standard and ask the same of students. I reserve the right to end a session or discontinue the working relationship if that standard is not met.

Privacy

Student information is kept private and is not shared with third parties. If I want to share a testimonial, review, or any student work publicly, I will ask for permission first.

General

These terms apply to all services provided by Jack Haseltine and may be updated periodically. Continued use of services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
